We were assigned to do a self portrait for our first project. Its hard to look at even now, because I'm learning much more about color and oil handling and my newest painting is so much stronger, but I think its important to have it here, just to see where I've come from

Been working on some stuff vaguely in the style of Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha. The bottom piece is a just a drawing from class... the Top piece is the first 4 hours of my newest narrative figure piece! Oil and I are finally starting to get along!
